I want to order, Where do you deliver to?

We currently operate from Edinburgh, but orders are welcome from anywhere on mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Please note that deliveries to Nothern Ireland tend to cost slightly more!

How can I pay for my purchase and what guarantee's do I have?

Lava Computers would prefer that payments are made through Paypal. This ensures you have complete peice of mind with your purchase witht he power and security of Paypal behind you.Payments can be accepted in cash or cheque if prefered and full receipt of payment will provided at the closure of the transaction.

We can accept Paypal payments by phone using Paypal Virtual Terminal or we can attend your property and take payment online through our secure Paypal account with our 3G broadband connection under certain circumstances. Please note that payments accepted through Virtual Terminal may be subject to a surcharge, we wil advise you at the time of payment/ordering what charges could be incurred.

How will I receive my order?

All orders are currently couriered b y Initial City Link and prices will shown full delivery charges when quotations are made. Average full delivery charges for a full PC build are around £25. Orders from within the Edinburgh and Lothians region can either collect from our home office at no charge or we can deliver ourselves for onlty £10 in the Edinburgh city region and £15 for East/West Lothian.

How long does it take to build a PC?

Currently we have a 2 week turnaround time for a home PC construction from your point of payment. This allows us to gain delivery of all componenets, build and stress test the working system and then have delivered to you. Please note that specialist builds or water cooling systems can take up to 3 weeks but an accuarte delivery time will be quoted when you order.

What type of componenets do you use?

We only source and use branded components and each will carry their respective manufacturers warranty. We currently use major component brands like Corsair, Hiper, OCZ, Samsung, LG, Western Digital, Zalman, Creative, Microsoft, Danger Den, Swiftech and Thermaltake to name but a few. If you place an order then your sales statement will break down descriptions of what we reccomend for your build.

Component availability will vary depending on supplier stock, price and demands of our customer. Lava Computers are designed to be unique and its unlikely that any two systems will be the same.

What support will I receive with my new system?

We will make sure you get up and running and your warranty support will be through ourselves, so any faulty equipment can be repaired/replaced by the manufacturer with our initial sales receipt. We dont supply support for your Operating System or any software on your PC but we will do our best to make sure you get help where possible.

Once completed your PC will come with an owners manual with details on support for all the software provided with your build as well as warranty information for each device in your new system.
